Local Attractions

Long Island's well-known for its beaches, and deservedly so. Just ask Dr. Beach, America's Foremost Beach Expert, who recently named Main Beach in East Hampton one of his Top 10 beaches in the nation! But there's so much more to Long Island--even if the sand and surf is your main reason for visiting. Don't forget about our nationally recognized water park, Splish Splash, recently named one of the 10 best in the nation by VacationRentals.com.

The East End wineries, world-renowned in their own right, are always a popular tourist attraction. And to help get you on the right track, we've gathered the links to some of the finest wineries around to take out some of the research and legwork. Click on the links below to find out which wineries are best to whet YOUR pallette!

Long Island is also home to the mighty Ducks. No, not the famous Disney Ducks, but ours are champions in their own right. The back-to-back 2012/2013 Atlantic League champs play just up the road from MacArthur Airport, and always feature some familiar former major leaguers on their roster.
